Single-digit ping times

Are you annoyed that the already less than optimal ping times for the WLAN in your building get even worse through your DSL connection?

Ping times directly in the direct vicinity of your router (FRITZ!Box, Speedport, Cable Box, and others) free of obstacles are typically around 2 to 4 milliseconds. If you’re going to be so close to your WLAN router though, you may as well connect directly with a LAN cable and get ping times of under a millisecond.

But as soon as walls or, worst of all, ceilings, come between you and the router, ping times for WLAN quickly increase into the three-digit range. Until packet loss. Completely useless for playing computer games over the internet.

Use the two-wire LAN system. Constant ping times around two to four milliseconds are achieved in the best case
